Attack foiled in front of Passport Department

KABUL (Pajhwok): An attack was prevented in front of the Passport Department in Kabul on Thursday, the Ministry of Interior said.

Eng. Ezam, deputy spokesman for MoI, said: “This noon an attacker, who wanted to enter the Passport Department, was killed by security personnel.

He said no casualties happened in the incident. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

A few days ago, the department announced distributing passports to government officials and their families.
