SHARAN (Pajhwok): Deputy Foreign Minister Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai during a trip to southeastern Paktika province has asked civil and military officials of the province to get maximum advantage of the previous administration officials and behave with them in good manner.

Addressing a gathering at the Governor House, he said civilian and military officials were bound to sincerely serve the country and address public problems.

The most important thing is that officials should show compliance with the amnesty decree of the Islamic Emirate leadership.

“Behave with officials of the previous administration properly, get maximum advantage of their knowledge and experiences, individual who migrated to other country had been deceived, they should return to the country, their honor, wealth and life is safe here,” he said.

He advised officials to behave with the masses in a proper manner and the gap between government officials and masses should be completely eliminated and public problems should be addressed on time.

He said the sons of the soil were ruling the country and today’s officials were from within the masses.

Paktika Governor Mawlavi Abdullah Mukhtar also addressed the gathering and said Islamic Emirate has achieved political and military independence and its protection was the duty of everyone.

He said in order to promote good governance, coordination between different institutions had been developed.

Paktika residents termed comments of government officials as hopeful and stressed over the implementation of these pledges.
