KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Afghanistan Foreign Minister Ameer Khan Muttaqi has left Kabul for Ashqabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on the head of a high level delegation on Friday, an official said.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Abdul Qahar Balkhi said on the invitation of Turkmenistan, Muttaqi is visiting Ashgabat.
He will discuss bilateral trade, energy, crude oil, railway track TAPI and education related matters with Turkmen officials.
It is worth mentioning that one week earlier Muttaqi visited Iran where he talked bilateral ties with Iranian officials.
