12 crime suspects detained in Nimroz

ZARANJ (Pajhwok): At least 12 people have been detained in connection with robbery, extortion and other crimes in northwestern Nimroz province, an official said on Thursday.

Police spokesman Bahram Haqmal told Pajhwok Afghan News the suspects were detained from Zaranj City on Wednesday.

Without elaborating, he said the cases of the detainees were sent to judiciary after initial investigation by the crime branch.
