KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan government officials say Turkish Red Crescent Society has donated six tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
Enamullah Samangani, deputy government spokesman, wrote on his Twitter account last night that the aid included food and winter clothing donated by the Turkish Red Crescent Society to the Afghan Red Crescent Society in Kabul.
He added that the donated materials will be distributed to poor people in coordination with charity organizations.
Turkish Red Crescent is the largest humanitarian organization in Turkey and is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
