3,000 vulnerable families in Takhar’s distributed food items

TALOQAN (Pajhwok): Three thousand families in the Namak Ab district of northern Takhar province have been distributed food items, according to a statement on Wednesday.

World Food Programme (WFP) has distributed food items to as many as 3,000 families in Namak Ab district on Tuesday, a statement from the Work and Social Affairs Department said.

Every vulnerable family was earlier identified by the Shelter for Life Organisation and distributed food items worth 4,800.

This comes that two days ago 700 families distributed aid in Takhar province by Qatar welfare organization.
