KABUL (Pajhwok): The European Union (EU) on Tuesday said it sent 34 tonnes of medical supplies to Afghanistan yesterday.
It was said by Janez Lenarčič, the EU commissioner for humanitarian and crisis management, on Twitter, but did not elaborate.
He says the European Union and its partners are providing much-needed support to the victims in Afghanistan.
It has been almost seven months since the Taliban came into power in Afghanistan but no country has yet recognized their government.
However, various countries and international organizations are interacting with the Taliban and also providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan.
