KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) Senior Economic Advisor Lutfullah Noor Pasarlai has held a meeting with European Union Special Representative for Afghanistan Tomas Niklasson and discussed matters related to financial and banking sectors, according to a statement on Monday.
According to Pasarali, the provision of humanitarian aid through the banking sector benefited the people of Afghanistan and the world.
In addition, meeting international standards helped ensure transparency, and strengthened the banking sector.
EU special representative during the meeting hailed the role of DAB and stressed continued cooperation in the financial and banking sector.
