TALOQAN (Pajhwok): At least five miners have died as a result of gold mine collapse in northern Takhar province, an official said on Sunday.
Maulvi Nawaz-ul-Haq, administrative chief for Chah-i-Aab district, told Pajhwok Afghan News that five workers of a gold mine lost their lives after the mine collapsed late on Saturday.
According to him, the miners were busy at work when the incident happened.
