Met Dept predicts rain, flash floods in 19 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Metrological Department (AMD) has predicted rainfall and flash floods in 19 provinces of the country in next 48 hours, according to a statement on Saturday.

Met office predicted rainfall and flash floods in Badakhshan, Takhar, Kapesa, Parwan, Kabul, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Zabul, Paktika, Paktia, Khot, Logar and some other provinces on Saturday and Sunday.

Up to 30mim rain and 20cm snowfall is expected in parts of the country, according to the met office.
