Potzel in Tajikistan to help spur regional cooperation

KABUL (Pajhwok): In order to strengthen regional cooperation with Afghanistan, UNAMA deputy head Markus Potzel has arrived in Tajikistan.

UNAMA tweeted Potzel arrived in Dushanbe at start of his visit this week to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and to meet officials to discuss some topics.

The UNAMA official would discuss options to help strengthen regional cooperation with Afghanistan and its people, the source added.

This comes as recently representatives from several regional countries met in Moscow and called for the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan.
