Heavy rain, snowfall predicted in 10 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted heavy rain and snowfall in ten provinces of the country.

On its Facebook page, the department said heavy rain and snowfall was expected in Herat, Farah, Nimroz, Helmand, Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Daikundi, Ghor and Badghis provinces tomorrow.

It said five to 20mm rain and five  to 20 centimeters snowing was expected in different areas.

Two days ago, Meteorological Department forecasted rain and snow in six provinces, including Salang pass.
