Hajj service agreement signed with Saudi Arabia

KABUL (Pajhwok): Ministry of Hajj and Islamic Affairs (MoHIA) officials have signed an agreement with their Saudi opposite numbers on preliminary arrangements for next year’s pilgrimage.

A statement from MoHIA said a delegation from Afghanistan, headed by, is administrative assistant Abdul Wali Haqqani, reached Jeddah on Monday in response to an official invitation from the Saudi government.

The delegates participated in t a conference on Hajj. Haqqani met Dr. Abdul Fattah Mushat, Saudi deputy minister of hajj and umrah.

The two sides conferred on issues related to hajj affairs and signed an agreement on preliminary arrangements for the ritual.
