KABUL (Pajhwok): A 29-memer Ulema Shura of Kabul province has been formed which will provide necessary advice to official in line with Sharia Law, an official said on Tuesday.
‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ (IEA) spokesperson issued a statement in which the IEA Supreme Leader Mawlavi Haibatullah Akhundzada approved the Ulema Council.
The council is headed by Shaikh Din Mohammad, its deputy is Shaikh Zabihullah Rashadi, admin and finance head is Shaikh Abdul Hameed Hammasi and other members are Shaikh Lutfullah Haqqani, Shaikh Mohammad Zahid Azizkhel, Mawlavi Abdullah, Mawlavi Asadullah, Mawlavi Syed Waliullah, Mawlavi Rafiulhaq, Shaikh Faizullah, Mawlavi Muzamil, Skikha Ahmad Shakir, Shaikh Abdul Rahman Farooqi, Shaikh Gul Rahman, Mawlavi Ahmadullah, Shaikh Zahir khan, Mawlavi Naqibullah, Mawlavi Esmatullah, Shaikh Faizullah, Haji Abdul Rahman, Haji Mohammad Farooq, Haji Abdul Sattar, Haji Jandad, Haji Abdul Hakim, Haji Mohammad Shakir, Halim Jan, Haji Syed Mahmood, Haji Mohammad Ihsan and Haji Muslim.
Mujahid said that the officials of the council and its members are obliged to give advice to the relevant officials of the province in accordance with Sharia law in order to improve the affairs of Kabul province.
