15-year-old boy stabbed to death in Logar

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed to death by unidentified attackers in central Logar province, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Ahmadullah Anas told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Katabkhel area of Mohammad Agha district late on Saturday.

Unidentified men stabbed the boy and injured him, he said, adding the teenager succumbed to his wounds on the way to hospital. Security forces are investigating the incident.

Mohammad Jan, a resident of the area, identified the victim as Musawir, aged 15. He was stabbed by unknown individuals, Jan added.

“The family of the victim had no enmity with anyone and the government must immediately investigate the incident,” the resident demanded.
