KABUL (Pajhwok): Nearly 3,000 candidates would appear in the electronic examination for different posts in the Kabul Municipality Administration, the Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Services Commission (IARCSC).
IARCSC and the General Directorate of Kabul Municipality Administration today (Sunday) jointly inaugurated the electronic examination system for the recruitment of Human Resource (HR) and in a first phase 111 candidates appeared for the test.
Officials said that 167 post had been announced for which around 14,826 had registered online.
A total 884 had been considered eligible for the test which will be conducted in few days.
Urban Services Director Mawlavi Mohammad Khalid Sajistani said corruption in Afghanistan did not eradicated fully but had reduced to zero.
He added in the past government posts were distributed on the base of relations, references but currently the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was committed to attract cadre and qualified youth to these posts.
IARCSC Deputy Finance Head Abdul Salaam Haqqani who was also present in the meeting said that individuals for these posts would be attracted on the base of their qualification.
He asked the contender to serve the country after they were able to pass the test.
Nasrullah Danish, one of the participants, said he was happy about the process because it would be transparent.
He said the electronic system was transparent and nobody could interfere or use other methods.
