Badakhshan accident leaves 1 dead, another injured

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): One person has been killed and another wounded as a result of traffic accident in Kasham district of northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Saturday.

Mahazuddin Ahmadi, director of information and culture, told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place in the Balochaa village of the district on Friday night.

He said a motorcycle collided with a Mazda type vehicle in which one individual was killed and another wounded.

The injured was evacuated to the Faizabad hospital for medical treatment by police personnel, he added.
