KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Afghanistan says Luxembourg has donated $376,597 to the Afghanistan’s Humanitarian Fund (AHF).
Luxembourg made the new contribution to the AHF for 2023 year, OCHA added.
With this contribution, Luxembourg has contributed over$1.62 million and the small European country has been a regular donor to the AHF since 2020.
However, OCHA had previously said that 28.3 million people in Afghanistan needed humanitarian assistance which required $4.6 billion for 2023.
