Flash floods inflicts financial losses in Wardak

MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): Flash floods triggered by heavy rains have caused huge financial losses to people in central Wardak province.

In a statement, the provincial natural disaster management authority, said heavy rain-induced floods caused many areas suffered damages in terms of financial losses.

The source said that 30 residential houses were destroyed and around 100 acres of farmland damaged due to flash floods in Jalrez district.

According to the source, the heavy rains also resulted in floods that hit Nerkh, Sayedabad, Daimerdad and Jaghato districts on Tuesday, but complete information was not available in this regard.
