ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Fifteen Afghans have been released from the Al Ghadir prison in the Zahidan City of Iran, according to local sources in southwestern Nimroz province, an official said on Tuesday.
Mawlavi Khayal Mohammad Nasrat, acting head of the Foreign Affairs Department in Nimroz, in a telephonic conversation told Pajhwok Afghan News released Afghans were detained due to the lack of necessary documents.
It was the sixth time that a bench of 15 Afghan prisoners had been released due to the efforts of Afghan embassy in Tehran and Afghan Consulate General in Zahidan, he added.
These individuals were freed on Monday and handed over to the Foreign Affairs Department in Nimroz.
