KABUL (Pajhwok): More than 2,000 Afghans have returned from Iran, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) announced on Thursday.
MoRR tweeted that 2,294 Afghan refugees returned from Iran via the Islam Qala port.
It said 351 people were referred to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for assistance after registration with the Refugee and Repatriation Department.
A couple of days ago, 2,410 Afghan refugees came back to Afghanistan from Iran the other day, the ministry said.
