GMIC, spokesmen agree on better coordination

KABUL (Pajhwok): Government Media and Information Centre (GMIC) officials and spokesmen for different departments have held a joint meeting.

GMIC head Maulana Naeemul Haq Haqqani discussed speeding up and strengthening the information-sharing process and boosting the level of interaction with the media.

A statement from GMIC quoted Haqqani as stressing improved the media-related activities of government organisations and continuously highlighting their achievements.

Both sides insisted on strengthening coordination and cooperation between GMIC and government spokesmen.

The participants also spoke about the role of GMIC in making the information-sharing process more effective and dealing with existing problems.
