KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) said a delegation will travel to Turkey for talks on addressing problems of Afghan refugees there.
Abdul Mutalib Haqqani, spokesman for MoRR, told Pajhwok Afghan News Qari Ajmal Wiyar would lead the delegation to Turkey.
He said: “The purpose of this trip to is to take a closer look at the problems of refugees and share them with Turkish authorities.”
He added the issue of forcibly deportation will be also discussed with Turkish authorities they will also work of a joint mechanism for those who returns to the country to not deprived of their rights.
Acting Refugee and Repatriation Minister Khalil Rahman Haqqani recently urged Turkey’s new ambassador to provide Afghan refugees with jobs instead forcibly deporting them.
The refugees should return to their country voluntarily under a joint mechanism, the minister proposed.
