AIBAK (Pajhwok): A local resident in northern Samangan province has handed over 12 historic items to the provincial Information and Cultural Affairs Department, an official said on Monday.
Mohammad Amin Azizi, director Cultural Heritage Items, told Pajhwok Afghan News 12 historic items date back to the time of Bakhtari Koshanies was kept by an individual who is blacksmith by profession.
He said that these items included two bronze idols, a bronze candlestick, a copper plate, one copper spoon, one dagger, one sword, one knife, three sword handles, and one tea kettle.
This comes that recently local officials had recovered five types of historic items from the Khelm district of Samangan.
