Over 14kg gold prevented from smuggling in Hairatan port

KABUL (Pajhwok): More than 14 kilograms of gold has been prevented from being smuggled to abroad in the Hairatan port, the Ministry of Finance said on Thursday.

On its X handle, the MoF wrote that the gold weighting 14.235 kilogram was being smuggled in export goods, prevented in Hairatan port.

According to the source, a suspect has been arrested in connection with the gold smuggling and currently being interrogated.
