KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation (MoTCA) on Saturday announced transferring more than 9,000 Afghan refugees to their respective provinces from Torkham and Spin Boldak crossings during the past two days.
MoTCA wrote on its X page that 514 families from Torkham and 963 from Spin Boldak had been shifted to their respective province in the past two days.
The families comprising 9,415 individuals were transferred to Uzugan, Helmand, Farah, Herat, Kabul, Balkh, Laghman, Paktia, Balkh and Kandahar provinces.
Pakistan has been detaining and deporting Afghan refugees following the expiry of the October 31 deadline.
