TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Construction work of a mosque has been completed at a cost of 10 million afghanis in Charchino district of central Uruzgan province.
Maulvi Mohammad Rafiq, district administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the mosque was constructed in Awshi area as per the demand of people.
The mosque was constructed with financial support of the deputy prime minister for economic affairs Maulvi Abdul Ghani Baradar.
According to him, the mosque on 4500 square meters of land has the capacity for 1,700 worshipers at a time.
