KABUL (Pajhwok): China has announced allowing visa free entry to nationals of France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia.
Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Mao Ning said yesterday the step has been taken for the development of the country.
On a one-year trial basis from December 1 this year till November 30, 2024, travellers holding ordinary passports from the six countries will be able to travel to China without a visa, Mao Ning said.
The program will apply to people coming to China for business, tourism, family visits and transit purposes, Mao said.
According to his information, nationals of Singapore and Brunei already availed visa free entry to China for business, tourism or family visits for a period of 15 days holding ordinary passports.
