KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) says power imports from Uzbekistan have returned to normal after the repair and reconstruction of facilities in the country.
On Sunday, DABS announced a a 50 percent reduction in electricity imports from Uzbekistan to Kabul and nearby provinces until evening.
In a statement, the power utility said the supply cut was due to repair and reconstruction of facilities in the country
According to reports, 80 percent of Afghanistan’s needs are met through imported electricity and the remaining 20 percent via domestic sources.
