Teenage boy commits suicide in Logar

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): A 15-year-old boy has allegedly committed suicide in Charkh district of central Logar province, police said on Wednesday.

Police spokesman Ahmadullah Anas told Pajhwok Afghan News the teenager Zabihullah, a resident of Naw Shahr area of Charkh district, ended to his life after a verbal clash with his father.

Anas said: “The boy had a verbal conflict with his father over the family car and he went out of home and hanged himself from a tree”.

Relatives of the boy also confirmed that Zabihullah took the extreme step due to family problems.

Committing suicide is forbidden in Islam and is a major sin.
