3 children killed in Uruzgan traffic accident

TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Three children have been killed and two women among another three people injured in a traffic accident in central Uruzgan province, police said on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Bilal Uruzgani told Pajhwok Afghan News a Mazda-type en route to Tirinkot city from Chinartu district veered off the road and overturned.

He said three children lost their lives and another three people including two women, all from the same family, were injured in the incident.

Uruzgani said the injured had been evacuated to the provincial hospital for treatment.
