ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Thirty tankers with low quality oil have been sent back to Iran, the Afghanistan National Standards Authority (ANSA) said on Thursday.
Matiullah Saberi, ANSA administrative head in Nimroz province, told Pajhwok Afghan News the tankers had entered the country from Iran in the past three weeks.
These tankers included 24 tankers of diesel and sic tankers of petrol over the past three weeks, he said.
He said the import of inferior-quality fuel did not serve the public interest as it took a heavy toll on the people.
Yhe ANSA official urged all businessmen to stop the import of low-quality fuel into the country in the supreme national interest.
