8 people arrested, 43,500 addiction tablets recovered in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Eight people have been arrested in capital Kabul and 43,500 K and Z-Kab tablets recovered from their possession, an official said on Saturday.

Police Spokesperson Khalid Zadran on his Twitter handle wrote: “Security personnel of the third Police District arrested eight people in separate raids and recovered 506 K tablets and 6,100 Z-Kab tablets.”

He said police have recovered a car as well during the raids and the cases of detained persons had been sent to the relevant organs for investigation.
