Faryab traffic accidents leave 1 dead, 7 injured

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): One person has been killed and seven others wounded as a result of two separate traffic accidents in northern Faryab province, an official said on Saturday.

Ahmad Fahim Kohi, director of traffic management, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the first accident took place in Andkhoy-Jawzjan highway when a corolla-type vehicle car collided with a Saracha vehicle on Friday afternoon.

He said one person lost his life and four others injured due to the collision.

Meanwhile, Information and Culture Director Mawlavi Shamsuddin Mohammadi said two people had been injured after a car overtuned in Khawja Usman area of Almar district on Friday.
