ATLANTA (Pajhwok): A boy has been rescued and two kidnappers have been detained by security forces in Kabul, an official said on Monday.
Abdul Matin Qane, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, wrote on X the boy was released from captivity during an operation in the 4th police district of the capital on Sunday evening.
He said Abdul Fahim had been abducted from the 11th police district two weeks ago.
According to him, two abductors, who had sought $800,000 in ransom from the boy’s family, were detained during the operation.
