18 suspects arrested, drugs seized in 3 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have seized 15,000 drug pills and 78 kilograms of narcotics in three provinces and arrested 18 suspects, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Thursday.

MoI wrote on its X handle that security forces arrested 18 people and seized narcotics in Kabul, Ghazni and Kunduz provinces.

The seized narcotics included 60kg of oman, 18kg of crystal meth, more than 15,000 narcotic pills and a quantity of hashish.

Security forces arrested eight people in Kabul, eight in Kunduz and two people in Ghazni provinces on charges of narcotics smuggling.
