Kidnapper arrested, child rescued in Kandahar

KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): An alleged kidnapper has been arrested and a child rescued in the Spinboldak district of southern Kandahar province, an official said on Friday.

Police Spokesperson Mullah Asadullah Jamshid told Pajhwok Afghan News the child was abducted two days ago on Wednesday.

He said police personnel had rescued the child and arrested an individual in connection with child abduction.

Mullah Jamshid said the arrested man confiscated the child abduction for money.
