4 miners wounded in Panjsher gas cylinder explosion

PARAKH (Pajhwok): Four miners were injured as a result of a gas cylinder explosion at an emerald mine in the Hessa-i-Awal district of central Panjsher province on Sunday.

Governor’s spokesman Saifuddin Latoon told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place at an emerald mine today morning.

He said the injured had been evacuated to hospital in Anaba district and they were said to be in critical condition.

The incident comes a day after a woman died due to a gas cylinder explosion in Alingar district of eastern Laghman province.
