GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): The Jack organization has been stopped from providing healthcare services in Ghazni City, the capital of southern Ghazni province due to growing public complaints, an official said on Thursday.
Public Health Department Director Dr. Rasoul Khan Nazari told Pajhwok Afghan News due to the negligence of Jack public and health personnel complaints had increased, therefore, it was stopped from the provision of services.
He added in the past few months the provision of health services was the responsibility of Jack.
“We had a joint meeting of the Jack officials and health officials yesterday, the organization did not satisfy the officials so it was decided to halt the services of Jack in the province.”
But Dr. Mohammad Saleh Wardak, head of the Jack Organisation said that according to the contract medicines, vaccines and stationary had been provided on time to the 109 health centres in Ghazni province.
He said there was 30 percent, 15 percent and one percent reduction in their personnel salary. He linked the halt of their contract with the salary reduction and added only the health personnel salary had been reduced.
