EU Envoy Lodice hails peace, security in Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): European Union (EU) Ambassador to Afghanistan Raffaella Iodice has met Interior Minister Serajuddin Haqqani and hailed the current security situation in Afghanistan and hoped for its sustainability.

Mufti Abdul Matin Qanai, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, on his social media handler X wrote that during the meeting EU ambassador hoped for a better future.

Acting Interior Minister Serajuddin Haqqani during the meeting said: “Afghans were proud people and will have a good future under the incumbent peaceful rule and Islamic system.”
