FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): A young boy died after falling from a mountain in Morghab district of western Ghor province, an official said on Saturday.
Police spokesman Maulavi Abdul Rahman Badri told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The young Zaria fell off and died in Asbaraf area of Marghab district while trying to cross the mountain after flash floods blocked the main highway.”
In more than a week, four people were killed and over 500 houses and thousands acres of farmland were destroyed by recent flash floods in Ghor.
