KABUL (Pajhwok): Japan’s embassy in Kabul has announced master’s and doctorate scholarships for Afghan students for 2025.

The embassy wrote on its X handle the scholarships would be granted to Afghan students under 35 year of age.

It added each of the scholarship recipients would also be given 140,000 Japanese yen ($1000) per month.

The embassy will set the selection process in motion in cooperation with the Aga Khan Foundation.

The scholarships, whose exact number was not given, are granted by Japan’s ministries of education, culture, physical training and computer science.
