9 suspected drug smugglers detained in Nangarhar

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least nine suspects have been detained in connection with smuggling of 229 kilograms of hashish in Durbaba district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Saturday.

Maulvi Wahidullah Mohammadi, a spokesman for the 201st Khalid bin Walid Military corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News nine individuals had been detained in connection with smuggling of drugs.

He said the detainees wanted to smuggle the drugs to neighboring Pakistan.
