KABUL (Pajhwok): Russia can help Afghanistan by exporting fuel products to the energy deficient nation and ensuring food security.
In an interview, President Vladimir Putin’s Special Representative Zamir Kabulov called the export oil products and supporting food security was important for Afghanistan.
Speaking to Rossiya-24 TV channel, the diplomat said IEA’s consistent control over the country was important for Russia.
"As any disintegration of Afghanistan would have the most negative reverberations across the region," Kabulov commented.
On May 27, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the initiative to de-list the interim Afghan government as a banned outfit reflected what he called awareness of reality.
