SA delegation vows to build well-equipped hospital in Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): A visiting delegation from South Africa has expressed the desire to invest in Afghanistan’s mines sector and help build a well-equipped hospital in the country.

The office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs wrote on X that a South African delegation comprising religious scholars, businessmen and health experts met with deputy PM Maulvi Abdul Ghani Baradar in his office today (Monday).

The African businessmen expressed their readiness to invest in the mines sector of Afghanistan and promised the use of modern technology in extraction of minerals. They were ready to fully exploit the available opportunities.

South African health experts, members of the delegation, also promised building a well-equipped health centre in Afghanistan.

No other details were mentioned and Baradar promised the South African delegation full cooperation

“Right now, the environment suits investment in Afghanistan and all domestic and foreign investors can take advantage of this opportunity”, Baradar said.
