Toddler among 3 dead, 2 wounded in Faryab accidents

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Three people, including a toddler, have been killed and two others injured in two separate accidents involving motorcycles in northern Faryab province, an official said on Wednesday.

Traffic Director for accidents Ahmad Fahim Kohi told Pajhwok Afghan News two motorcycles collided in Kohi Khana Bala Guzar area of Maimana city, leaving an 18-year-old and a 23-year-old youth dead and two others injured.

Separately, a motorbike overturned in Arab Khana area of Maimana’s fourth district, killing a two-year-old child on Tuesday (evening).

Kohi blamed the accidents on high speed and asked people to avoid unnecessary speed.
