JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Pakistan on Wednesday denied entry to Afghans holding ETA visas at Torkham crossing, officials in eastern Nangarhar province said.
Nangarhar information and culture director Maulvi Siddiqullah Qureshi told Pajhwok Pakistani closed the Torkham gate against Afghan with ETA visas.
He added Pakistani soldiers were not allowing any Afghan visa holder to cross the Torkham gate without revealing the reason.
On the other hand, Nangarhar police spokesman Hafiz Abdul Basir Zabuli told Pajhwok confirmed the Pakistani side had closed the Torkham gate to those with ETA visas.
However, he said the gate was open traffic and other normal visa holders and commercial vehicles.
Pakistan gives ETA visa to patients online and then allows them to travel legally within their borders with relevant documents.
