MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): One development project has been executed at a cost of eight million afghanis and work on two others launched in eastern Laghman province, an official said on Thursday.
Governor’s spokesman Abdul Malik Niazi told Pajhwok Afghan News construction work on two development schemes kicked off in Mehtarlam, the provincial capital, on Wednesday.
He said the projects worth five million afghanis included construction of ten culverts on Sultan Ghazi Baba road and boundary wall around the municipality building.
He added eight classrooms for a boy’s school were constructed at a cost of three million afghanis in Aligar district.
