Uzbek’s delegation in Kabul to attend tri-nation meeting

KABUL (Pajhwok): A high-ranking Uzbek delegation has arrived in Kabul to attend in a tri-nation meeting, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) announced on  Thursday.

The delegation arrived in Kabul on the invitation from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The delegation is scheduled to attend a tri-nation meeting between Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in Kabul.

Enhanced trilateral economic and commercial ties, development in transportation and logistics sectors, geological discoveries of solid minerals in Afghanistan, investigation of areas with high potential for minerals and hydrocarbons, as well as the implementation of the Cement production project in northern Afghanistan will come up for discussion in the meeting.

However, the ministry did not provide details about the date of the meeting.

The delegation would also participate in Uzbek products exhibition at the Afghanistan International Exhibition Centre in Kabul.
