KABUL (Pajhwok): A four-day national exhibition titled “Afghanistan’s Victory and Economic Progress” commenced in Kabul on Thursday, showcasing a diverse array of Afghan products.
Inaugurated at the Afghanistan International Exhibition Center, the event is being participated by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the private sector.
Maulvi Zubair Din Parwar, Director General of International Trade at the MoIC, highlighted that the exhibition featured quality Afghan products on 310 booths.
Parwar emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in promoting Afghan products and noted their growing presence in global markets. He called on businessmen and investors to consider investing in Afghanistan.
Khan Mohammad Frotan, head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock, underlined the significance of exhibitions in marketing products and urged citizens to support domestic goods.
Sakhi Ahmad Peyman, first deputy head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized shared responsibility in ensuring product quality and government support.
He also noted the significant achievements in Afghan handicrafts, particularly the crucial role of women in this sector and the export of their products abroad.
